We each see the world through the lens of our own individual experience. I try to capture this flux of shifting aspects and perceptions through my work in many mediums: collage, mixed media and oil on canvas, watercolor, pastel and oil on paper, monotypes and drypoints.

Technically, I am interested in the combination of opposites, fluid form with accurate drawing, energetic surface with atmospheric wash. Often I use optical reflections in which changes of form and color suggest the ambiguity of our perceptions.

My work covers a broad range of themes including cityscapes, landscapes, images of cultural and political history, and expressive portraiture.
